Pruning Strategies for Tomatoes
A tomato's purpose is to make as much fruit as possible that will help its survival. Indeterminate tomatoes should not be pruned at all, but just controlled in some sort of a cage. If you are on good, rich ground, your yield will be absolutely enormous. You're creating a tomato fractile. The other thing to keep in mind is keeping the plant from putting too much energy into these suckers and flower stems.
