Will Jeremy Hunt's Remit Extend Beyond the Treasury?
I think Rishi is definitely the most likely successor at this point. I don't think Hunt, you know, initially my thinking was that Hunt might, like Zaha'i, join the rebels and tell Trus to go. But he's just going to be chance. And what will be interesting also will be to see whether or not his remit goes beyond the Treasury. He's in his period as chair of the Health Select Committee about how deep the cuts were - especially in social care. To me, he called them a silent killer. So that would be one to keep an eye on as well.
