Pandas, I'm Looking at You!
When you write an algorithm on a small amount of data, it appears to be terrible. Pandas has some nefarious things that happen with its "row-wise" function. You can write that and do a unit test on that. Then you run that against your unit test, and it inverts. It's like an algorithms on a small number of data appears to be bad.
