The expansion of the universe is not happening at a constant rate. So that changes over time, which parts of the universe are moving away from us fast in the speed of light and slower than the speed oflight. Some things were moving away from them faster than the speed Of Light always; other things were movingaway from us fast but then no longer do so. And they might be again in the future because of the acceleration. There's a whole different outcomes based on how far away from us you are.
