The Problem With China's Data Sharing Policy

As long as the parent of a data company like this is Chinese, isn't there always going to be a problem? In the US, let's not be naive, companies work alongside the US government. And when you have a US company saying, I am limited in the way that I can interact in China, I don't have the backing of the US government to the same level that this Chinese company does. At the end of the day, it does seem to be aproblem that may not have any solution that's reconcilable.
