The Russian Elections - A Brief History
In 19 o six they would elect no members to the duma, but they would claim 82 assassinations over the course of the year. The parties also went into the campaign afraid that nobody out there would really care, that russian democracy would starve from lack of interest. When the final totals were counted, the cadets won a hundred and 89 seats, by far the most of any single party. Russia conserv s numbered maybe ten percent of the delegates, with exactly zero % coming from the far right.
