Shelley-Morkoputo: Lying is great in politics sometimes. Donald Trump has gotten really, really far by lying. But to get those people on board, you need to give them some kind of reassurance that you can get away with this sleight of hand. Like the reason repealing delay already fell apart is that a critical mass of senators realized that Paul Ryan's pitch on health care is a lie and they are nervous about going to war on the basis of that lie.
