There is a genuine worry that all of our food has been spoiled by injustice. We can embrace what I call the saving pride Ryan's solution based on Steven Spielberg's 1998 blockbuster and the movie, "Several Men Die" The dying words of the last man, Captain John Miller, played by Tom Hanks, to Private Ryan are James Earnness. If a pig or a cow or even a carrot must die in order for us to live, then let us earn it by living our lives the best that we can.
