The Purpose of the Fish
The only sense of purpose tht we really understand is the one that we have, and thatis tied into our sort of cultural history. So unless we can make that translation to the fish, it's really difficult to figure out. What do you imagine is the kind of common mediumthat you can talk about? All right, we're descending into philosophy here. Why don't we make houses out of some kind of amber and then carve them? Gosh, i mean, people obviously have lived in caves at different times in history. And caves are naturally carved, typically by water, flowing through rock. I suppose that, you know, you u you could make your own cave.
