Angen: When I make a new password, I'm usually advised to make one with a combination of capital letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols. Does this actually make my password any more secure? Memento Mori: The reason they do that isn't so much that it's more secure, though it is. But these brute force password hackers aren't going to guess a nice long all lowercase or even a random string of lowercase letters.
