The Megolithic Culture - What Are We Doing Instead?
Wood henge is believed to have been next to a third millennium b c e, nealithic settlement. It was in the time leading up to one thousand 500 b c e that we bel some of the carvings on the stones at stonehenge were created. We really start to lose any evidence of stonehenge significance after this date. There does appear to be a strange ritual practice that emerged in this area of the world some time after the megolithic period. This practice is the ritual deposition of artifacts in watery locations. However, this goes back to the ritual of offerings being made to nature, with nature ultimately being in control of our survival.
