What Is Provisional Government?
In 1917, the new provisional government takes office in Russia. The leader of the new government is Bronsky-Ogy-Liev. Liev spends his first few weeks ushering in a package of reforms. He relaxes censorship laws and eases restrictions on freedom of speech. These are bold steps towards a more democratic system. But Liev cannot act alone. He must share power with his new partners, and that brings in problems. From February 1917 onwards, Russia continues to fight the war.
