Is This a Mark Leaping Bin Movie?
The slow camera moves the lateral movements that mark lea ping bin uses in a lot of his films with hosha. The idea of restraint just covers this entire film in so many different aspects. And william chang just really goes off the fucky chain here. Its like, everything is so gorgeous in this movie. Everything feels so appropriate to that time period but also so evocative and emotional for something i've never been alive for.
