When i published my first book, emperor's edge, i barely sold any copies. A couple of years and six novels and a number of short stories and nevella's later, i got to the point of modest day job income. That was 20 12. But it took time for readers to find my work. And i have published a lot of books over the last 11 years. I think lindsey's got over 80 books, possibly even towards a hundred. She's got so many now. It's very rare for someone in any industry to become successful overnight. Having high expectations and letting yourself keep getting disappointed makes it hard to stick with it long enough to get there. This
