The Downward Trend of Civilization
I don't think we can rely on Bitcoin alone to stop the downward trend of civilization because there's so many other elements, taxes, property rights, understanding of the way the world works. The money printer is what allows bad things to be very bad. If it continues to take the wealth stored in people's money and use it to finance its dumb ideas, the only end point is essentially complete economic collapse where all of the society's capital is destroyed as we saw in Zimbabwe or Venezuela. And this is the case because there is no alternative, there is no use. There's nothing that you could use other than the national currency.
