Is Prayer a Reasonable Act if God Is Unchangeable?
The second error, he says, is a denial of contingency by attributing necessity to every event. And in this case, prayer would be uselessit there's no point in praying to god if god doesn't guide things in our lives. The third error is a deny of god's immutability. How can prayer be a reasonable act if god is unchanging? I think saint thomas understands that this is a really serious question for us existential weight we really feel the weight of these objectionsif you spend enough time with them.
