How to Engage With History

joe wright has directed a lot of films with historical settings. This film project, though, all started with an adaptation for the stage that erica schmidt wrote. She also happens to be married to the star of the syrno de bergere ville, peter dinklidge. i asked her what made her want to take this hundred and 20 year old play and try to make it new. And em i wanted to kind of ask it some questions, to kind of engage with it in a dialogue.
