Will a Soft Lockdown Be Enough?
I'm a probabilistic, medium-term utilitarian. And that data is what matters, not ultimately what results. We've got to look at what we have right now. In my very humble, agnostic opinion, we have enough data to suggest that there could be a very high mortality rate. My guess is between 6 and 12%. So I'm in favor of a soft lockdown. That's my personal view. Sticking my neck out on the line here. But it seems to me like you want to have at least some soft measures on either side. You know, something we could do is eliminate the distinction between essential and non-essential goods. At least then you've got
