i think that when we think about herin the united states, where kind of the hierarchy of even race, or hierarchy of class, those elements were heavily imbedded into conniversocial structures. O whether or not we are even aware of it, it plays out in many different ways. When wes in implicit bises, were not saying that somebody is purposefully or intentionally trying to discriminate or harm another person. And until we can bring that into our conscious awareness, that we are being biased in these certain behaviors or thought patterns, then we are totally unable to intentionally and consciously act upon those biases and actually change them or shift them.
