Glenn: To what extent was christianity the beginnings of human dignity and equality? Glenn: There's much leakage that happens when you go from christ to church and then from church to world over the centuries. He says i think we have a sense of equality as though i am equal to other members of the human race because i'm equally far up the same individual ladder. glenn: We've lost quite a lot in the secularizing of the equality story and part of it is responsible for the rampant individualism we see in the west.
