How Did You Get Into Recording?

I can remember recording my own stuff, kind of more out of boredom. My parents had a two casete deck caryoke machine. That was like a family activity. And then i graduated to a an actual fosdex for track when i was 15. Figured out how bouncing works, panning levels, clipping. Did not give a fuck. I was still clipping so hard until lik college. Then it moved to the boss digital nine track around 18 and that became my work hourse for the next four or five years before i got a laptop.
