The failure of Silicon Valley Bank is either ironic or perfectly fitting, depending on how you want to look at it. FTX and Sam Bankman-Fried rose to prominence with the help of perhaps the most storied name in venture capital. Sequoia had invested in FTX and they also contributed to the myth of SPF. So VC's funded and promoted FTX which caused a series of down on us to fall.
