The final chapter of part one yes features some more friendly neighborhood racism. Atticus tells Jim Jim to be a gentleman to her because she's old and sick but Mrs. Dubost does not return the favor, yelling at the kids about their father working with black people both his cook and now he's defending someone. The children are already impressed they're like what the hell dad. Miss Morty tells them later that as a young man Atticus was the best shot in the county known as one shot Finch. And then it's Jim's turn to lose his temper and he smashes all of Mrs. Dubst's chamelea bushessmashes all the flowers why I never that's that
