The Importance of Personhood in Western Philosophy
Confucius was writing in about the 6th century BC, 5th century BC. He's looking back on what he takes to be a golden period of Chinese civilisation. There are differences between Aristotle and Confucian for sure. But one can easily recognize the similarities. I think it's still true that people underestimate the richness of the Asian philosophical traditions. We don't teach them the West much yet.
