Judge Newman's Refusal to Cooperate With the Special Committee on Disability
Other judges and court staff raised concerns about Judge Newman's health. She was said to have suffered a fainting spell where she was unable to walk with that assistance after oral arguments in May of 2022. What seems to have escalated this dispute is that Judge Newman refused to cooperate with the committee in any way, he says.
