Fluent is a big word. It means different things to different people. Fluency comes from the Latin and Vuere meaning flowing. For many people, fluent means to be able to speak like a native. 99% of you who have subscribed to our YouTube channel about learning English will never learn English. The fluency goal language learners set for themselves is usually about being able to emulate somebody else's fluency.
