Case 164: Cindy James
Casefile True Crime
The Inquest Into Cindy James's Death
Cindy James was found dead in the garage of her Vancouver home. The toxicology report showed that Cindy had eight different drugs in her body, including fluoresopam and amorphine. A message appeared on a fuel tank beside the abandoned house saying 'some bitch died here' Her family believed she may have been killed by a stalker or foul play. An inquest took place to determine whether it was suicide or an accident. Five jurors were tasked with having to decide whether Cindy was the victim of foul play, ended her own life, or perpetrated the final attack herself but accidentally went too far.
