It's got this amazing, perfect, archetypal hero's journey storya which just resonates with a mass audience. Every moment of it is political and spiritual and philosophical. And there's every scene you can approach it from, different interpretations or layers of meaning in every moment of this movie. It seems like it just kind of was beamed down to earth. Couldn't have been made by humans. How could any human like pack everything with so much meaning and have it all worked so well? That's too much to try to accomplish with one two hour work of art. And this movie does it. Almost nothing i've seen does as much as this movie does with the time
