Body language is not supported at all by the research. What we need to think about actually more is their voice. When we can hear someone but we can't see them, our empathic accuracy only drops off about four %. But when we can see someone but we cannot hear them, pathic accuracy drops off 54%. So the voice has a lot more tells in it than what we see in somebody's movements. We should really focus on the voice overlooking at body language.
