Gone Medieval
00:00
Introduction
Henry V died on the 31st of August, 1422, 600 years ago. Shakespeare's famed hero was a model for Henry VIII who failed spectacularly to live up to the hype. The most famous speech that Shakespeare gives to Henry comes just before the Battle of Agincourt when the king addresses his men. This story shall the good man teach his son and Crispin Crispin shall now go by from this day to the ending of the world. But we in it shall be remembered. We few, we happy few, we band of brothers. For he today that sheds his blood with me shall be my brother.
