Interviewing a Public Figure

How is it different to talk to someone who is a public figure with whom you have an agreed amount of time that you are going to whatever? I guess i inmy imagination, print journalists always interview celebrities over brunch at the season s. A a private person really has no clear takeaway from except for you saying to them, wouldn't you be to see your story told? People say to me sometimes like, how come why? And they usually because they are nice, reverse the frame and say like,  i feel like on your show, bull's eye.
