The Dangers of Using Satellites as a First Strike Weapon
There has been work for a long time using satellites as a direct attack weapon. All programs to place first strike nuclear warheads upon satellites, which could be launched once a satellite is directly over the target. This way avoiding the 30 minute warning you usually get if Russia was to launch ICBMs towards the United States. But with this in mind, are there more players looking at use satellites as a first strike weapon? Yes and I think this is particularly dangerous.
