Larry Hillblum founded DHL in 1969, the same year man first walked on the moon. The company grew faster than any startup of its time and controlled 70% of the courier market between San Francisco and Hawaii. But Larry never wanted to be a high profile public figure like his idol Howard Hughes. He moved from California to Saipan where he bought the national bank and served as a high court judge.
