Passover, the Resurrection of Covenant
The children of israel encamped in gilgal, kept the passover on the fourteenth day of the month at even in the plains of jericho. They they remind themselves of their own blood of the lamb on their lintel and doorposts before they go see a similar token in the window,. But there's also something here about what else that's been happening. This is a chapter about the renewal of covenant, right? They've had their miracle. They've passed through the water. They've taken the covenant upon themselves with the mark of circumcision. And now let us commemorate all that with the passover, which will remind us of what real deliverance was all about.
