What Becomes of the Potano?
Other indian groups began to invade the region from the north. These were largely allied with the english, who now had created colonies of their own. So many timuquin indians and other indigenous people around florida were harassed, raided and then often taken captive for sale as slaves. The potano in particular suffered from these raids until basically the group was so diminished and so vulnerable that they simply dissolved - merging into other tribes. And we canreuct what eventually became of them.
