Air India - A New Name in the Indian Aviation Market
Akasa made its debut in August, flies to 10 destinations across India and hopes to go international in 2020. The carrier plans to grow by connecting tier 2 and 3 cities to major hubs,. boosting traffic in the short term but slowly expanding for some busier routes as well. Jet airways has been forced to send staff on leave and delays relaunched in 2023 if deals cannot be carded. Safety was also in spotlight in 2022 as low-cost carrier spies at front is at a string of incidents.
