The Pros and Cons of Gamification
Amazon has run a thing called the Delivery Premier League for its drivers. Some people do like this scheme because they think they're getting extra rewards. But other people have said that just about half an hour before they're going to get the reward, the system stops giving them jobs. So you can kind of see how this kind of system, this gamified system looks like it's fun, but also can be used to really control people's work and pay.
