The Green New Deal and the Knowledge Economy
If Trump ran and said I'm going to completely wipe out the entirety of the knowledge economy as we know it, people would go crazy. The vast numbers of people who work in like energy is the backbone of not just the American economy but much more than that like American geopolitical power. So you're saying we're going to wipe out this really central part of the American economy and replace it with something else. It's another type of interleant conflict which would push a lot of those jobs into more like a high tech part of the economy.
