Is That a Lost Opportunity for Faith Building Moment?

When the Lord provides for my family in a big way and there was a problem and God solves it, I need to be, use those moments as opportunity to share with my family like this guy did. And something like that where everybody in the family knew that the son was very sick and close to passing. But if I don't share that with my family, with my children, is that a lost opportunity for faith building moment for them? There's a level of transparency that we need to guard and our kids don't need to know everything.
