Is There a Future for Cryptocurrency?
A new protocol called ordinals is being used to track individual Bitcoin's. Ordinals assigns individual Satoshi's identities, and you can attach data to them. It looks a lot like colored coins or open asset protocol or some of these 2015 things like tagging UTXOs,. But what the heck's going on here? Yeah. Apparently, Taproot means that you can stuff a ton of data in the witness - which has never been done before.
