The Limits of Obedience
In the German speaking world, people still talk about obedience vis-a-vis the Vaima Republic and Hitler. What if a legitimately elected superior starts telling you to do things that you're like, I don't know, seems off? How much of this depends on saying the object, who's the one who's speaking, and that you have to obey. If God says, go slay Father Jacob Berdrend, right? Now we've got an issue. But in hierarchy, stacked hierarchies of laws, there are these kind of laws promulgated at different levels.
