A Devotional Attitude

Theologian abraham joshua heschel describes two different kinds of thinking. He talks about conceptual thinking and situation thinking. We have to start with an awareness, or what we might call an attitude in which we understand the symbol. The only language that we can use is something like a poetic anguage. It's a piece of poetry that points us toward something that ultimately can't be known in its fulness.
