Is There a Perfect Teacher?
People project a lot on to teachers. When you've fallen in love, one of my teachers called it falling down the well. We have this amazing capacity to take situations and imagine them to be different than they are. Have you notie sad in your life? And in some way, that's what spiritual practice is about: starting to wake up and see how things actually are in front of us rather than what we imagine.
