Kitty and Malcolm get close quickly and she starts to spend some nights at his place in Maryport. The house is part of a Victorian terrace but it had originally been a cobbler shop. Everything was exactly as it would have been in Victorian times. It's almost like he is the custodian of some previous residence tastes. Is Kitty about to meet that previous resident?
