Acute Myeloid Leukemia AML

The patient had an uneventful bone marrow biopsy. The aspirin reveals a preponderance of what appears to be myeloid blasts, almost too many to count. And then we do a touch prep of the core which showed also increased blasts, likely myeloid in origin. At the same time, there is a biopsy obtained of a skin which just remains pending. So it sounds like we've got a diagnosis of acute myeloid leukemia.
