Mining more and more as a race to accumulate bitcoin, rather than making big profit margins. Some miners have been financing their operating expenses with debt or equity so that they can hold a hundred % of the big coins that they mine. But i think miners still need to have a rainy day fund, just like a family would. They're getting capital losses because of their balance sheet management,. on top of now having their profit margin squeezed further.
