When i started to learn about how the decisions were being made. I went to invisioning sessions where there were an endless number of postat notes, and everyone was invited to write their hopes and dreams for kids education. And at the end of the day, no matter how much you spoke up and how much you said, the end result was that we're going to have a school with no advanced, accelerated academics. Because i just heard people talk the kind of education they want for their kids, and the parents who wanted something different were being silenced.
