The Role of Emotion in Objective Analysis

In analysis and intelligence analysis, here's one of those language things that becomes like this hardened, fast role. And that is the idea that emotion has no role in objectivity. I don't know how to repress that so much that the emotion of it doesn't filter into analysis and decision making. It's ludicrous to think that you can be on the job watching 3,000 people get murdered in a span of a few hours and not have an emotional reaction.
