The Relationship Between Anxiety and Fear

Anxiety is a kind of defense and in dreams of frightening figures often are not actually frightening but are pure threatening because we're defending against them. I'm thinking about the anxiety and the fear often brings people in a person's family or others that close to the person into an empathic or sympathetic place. It brings people into the tend and befriend place, whereas the aggression, the anger, tends to alienate people. So usually there are feelings here, so a long way around, but there are feelings that are unacceptable to the person that have been suppressed or repressed.
