The 48 Laws of Power

The 48 Laws of Power, Law 4, always say less than necessary. Powerful people impress and intimidate by saying less. The more you say, the more likely you are to say something foolish. In your quest for power, you will constantly find yourself in the position of asking for help from those more powerful than you. Most people never succeed at this because they are completely trapped in their own wants and desires. They talk as if their needs mattered to these people who probably couldn't care less.
